Field Trip: Inspiration from a Crazy Little Emu Farm (in Atlanta)
When I was a kid, my favorite days at school were always field trip days. They always felt like some kind of chance – roller coasters, a petting zoo, the yearly mud walk (my favorite). But as I grew upwardly, those field trips slowly lost their luster, until (somewhen) there weren't any trips during school hours to await forwards to. Ah, ane of the downgrades to growing up.
A couple of weeks agone, though, I establish a crazy cool / strange place that I thought would be perfect for a shoot. Photo shoots are basically the adult version of field trips these days. And I get merely as excited most these 'field trips' every bit I did when I was a kid.
And then, Amelia and I packed everything up, including the ombre hanging water ice chests and spent the mean solar day at an intown emu farm. Random? Yes! Simply also kind of magical? Definitely!
We were at that place for well-nigh of the day and fifty-fifty though we were both consummate piles of sweat when we left, nosotros both vowed to become back when the weather cools down again. Until then though, we take enough of photos to share from our solar day at the farm…the swans, the giant koi pond, and (of course) a few emus too.
